1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Spirit Run Distillery website and the purchase of products through our online store. By placing an order you agree to these terms in full.
2. The Parties
“Spirit Run Distillery”, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Spirit Run (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa. “You” and “your” refers to the customer placing an order.
3. Age Restriction
You must be 18 years or older to purchase alcohol in South Africa. By placing an order you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the person receiving the delivery is also 18 or older. We reserve the right to cancel any order where this cannot be confirmed.
4. Products
All our spirits are handcrafted in small batches. Product descriptions, tasting notes and ABV percentages are provided in good faith. Bottle imagery is for illustration — label design may vary slightly between batches.
5. Pricing
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT at the applicable rate. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed at checkout.
6. Orders
An order placed on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Order confirmation by email does not constitute final acceptance — acceptance occurs when the order is dispatched.
7. Payment
We accept payment via PayFast (credit/debit card, EFT, Instant EFT and SnapScan). All transactions are secured and processed by PayFast. We do not store your card details.
8. Delivery
Orders are delivered via The Courier Guy PUDO locker network. Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to your selected PUDO locker. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
9. Consumer Protection Act
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Our Returns & Refund Policy sets out your return and refund rights in full.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spirit Run Distillery is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the value of the order in question.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including the Spirit Run name, logo, product names, photography and copy — is the property of Spirit Run Distillery (Pty) Ltd and may not be reproduced without written permission.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
